For our A2 Media course we are going to produce a horror teaser trailer, a film poster for the film and a movie magazine front cover featuring our film. It will be targeted at young people, aged 16-24 years. Prior to this we are going to make preparations. These include researching into the horror genre by producing individual textual analyses on horror teaser trailers and their film posters as well as analyses on a movie magazine front cover. When this has been completed and we have discussed ideas regarding the trailer we will write a final treatment. To follow, we will also draft a storyboard to outline the sequences of our teaser trailer. After the completion of our research and planning, we will then move on to the production of our teaser trailer. The production of the teaser trailer will be structured through group meetings and the availability of the filming studio.
When the production of the teaser trailer is complete, will edit it using specialist software. Once this has been achieved successfully, we will then proceed with the production of our film poster and the movie magazine front cover featuring our film.
