Roles

We have finally established clear roles for each member of our group.
The assignment of roles will allow us to evenly distribute the workload of planning and production as well as enable us to progress individually.
The Roles available were:

- Editor

- Director of Filming

- Head of Researching

- Chief Designer/Photographer

Each member of "ShockMedia!" now has a clearly defined role. These are;

Editor - Olaide Sadiq

I will be the head of editing for "ShockMedia!" My role will consist of me assisting the other group members with their tasks as well as drafting information and ideas with them for our final products. With this information I will then make the best use of my editing skills and software knowledge to edit our teaser trailer, poster and magazine front cover. I will also take responsibility of finding useful sources that I believe will not only help me when making decisions about editing, but it would also improve the quality and appeal of our final products. I will work closely with other members of my team to ensure they have a significant level of input when our final products are being edited.

Director of Filming - Beverley Menya

As the Director of filming, Beverley will be responsible for overseeing the filming of our teaser trailer as well as working closely with the Chief Designer in relation to the photography for our magazine front cover and film poster. She will ensure that we are using the best possible camera shots, angles, and movement for our teaser trailer content. She will also work closely with the other team members to draft and contribute ideas and information for the final product.

Head of Research - Chelsea Fazakerley

Chelsea is the key contributor of research for "ShockMedia!". After regular meetings with the rest of the team she will then use the ideas and information gathered in the meetings and research them further. She will also be responsible for overseeing the Audience research and ensuring that all team members are doing an efficient level of research for their areas as well as distributing and analysing the group's general research. She will also be responsible for demonstrating the inspiration for our teaser trailer, film poster and magazine front cover as well as ensuring the other team members are discussing and noting their inspiration for the decisions they have made for their area.

Chief Designer - Yeside Beyioku

It is Yeside's responsibility to design and draft a majority of our ideas. She will oversee the creative aspects of designing and ensure the team members are making individual contributions to the design aspect of production. When the team have drafted their own ideas, Yeside will scrutinise these and develop final ideas. She is also responsible for gathering information from the other team members in order to draft key design pieces such as the storyboard, and the final design ideas for the film poster and magazine front cover. She will work closely with other members of the group to ensure everyone is corresponding with the content of the design as well as ensuring that the filming and editing for the teaser trailer closely matches the storyboard.

As well as adopting key roles for the planning and production of the final products, members of ShockMedia! will also take on acting roles where possible in the filming of the trailer. As the creators will have the clearest idea of what the teaser trailer must consist of.
